Season 3
The third season of Medium premiered on 15th November, 2006 and ended on 16th May, 2007 completing twenty - two episodes.
It begins with, Bridgette and Allison witness dreams, some of them animated too but all about a number of brutal crimes. Allison later sees a dream in which she loses her leg as her clashes with a murderer. But the events occur in her real life as well. Soon her nemesis, Dr. Charles Walker too starts featuring in her dreams and she is afraid that his spirit may come back and by dwelling in the living continue his evil work. Her worries aggravate as she comes across a young man who looks very much alike to the late 1800’s serial murderer.
Allison purchases a camcorder as Joe’s birthday gift but she sees in it, pictures connected to a murder that may not have occurred yet. Next, Allison has a tiff with FBI criminal profiler, Kurtwood Smith while working on a case in which a serial killer is suspected, when Allison’s visions and Smith’s findings do not match up. Marie’s weird behavior becomes the cause of Joe’s botherations.
Some time later, Ariel and Allison come across death of a dress shop owner and her daughter but when they have dreams about the crime, both are different and show two different suspects. Allison also sees some mystifying visions of a small boy trapped in a well while she is assisting District Attorney, Devalos in exploring the baffling case of the death of a widely respected congressman.
Allison even sees later in her visions, a strange friendship between two ghosts and is stunned as one of them snubs her when she tries to help identify his slayer. After dreamingly heavily about child abuse she now begins to see a doll owned by a young boy and it seems that doll inspired the killer to kill. The deadline of his project starts to take toll on Joe’s health.
The cynical Texas Ranger, Kenneth Push is back in Allison’s life as he sees visions regarding a stunning murder in Phoenix. Allison later has an experience where she wakes up believing she is a different person as she is possessed. A mother’s worst nightmare is seen by Allison as she comes to know that Marie would die in 20 years due to cancer.
A psychic killer from “S.O.S.” escapes from prison, and even though Allison sees this as a vision, due to the difference of time zones, confusions occur and now the killer is after Allison’s life.
The murder investigation of Walter Paxton’s wife is on and it is sure that a serial killer is behind the job. Allison is helping, Scanlon and Devalos on the pursuit of the killer but finds out that her recent friend Debra is the next potential victim. Allison does everything possible to save Debra but is in for a rude shock regarding Debra’s identity.
In the end, Allison is caught in a fix when her powers are known to all and still she has to create out a way to bring a killer to book.
Allison’s life is turned upside down when her powers are revealed and she must find a way to bring the killer to justice on her own.
