Season 2

The second season of medium premiered on 19^th September, 2005 and ended on 22^nd May, 2006.

In this season, Allison gets Captain Push’s message who is in coma and everyone thinks that his plan is now botched. In the case of a missing college girl, Allison hears raucous sound of “I Will Survive” and a lost MP3 seems to be a vital clue. Next, she is stuck up in a dream circle, where she is undergoing a torturous experimental treatment as a mental patient. After due research it is known that a patient named Beverley had claimed in 1959 to be Allison DuBois living in 2005. Later Allison comes to know that Beverley had faked the murder of her daughter to save her from her father but now the daughter needed her help.

Allison is also sleepwalking this season, as her dreams compel her to find some money. This habit of sleepwalking concerns her family and also hampers the investigation in the case of the missing businessman and his young son. It is known later that the father was blackmailed and died in a car accident while going to give the ransom money. Allison also recalls her high school years, as an old man’s ghost warns her that her best friend, an aspiring model should not leave to follow her ambitions. Then there is a kidnapping, four liters of blood in a car and a pornographic video.

Allison faces tough time at work as she continuously dreams about the slaughter of DA’s office staff and things get worse when Watt, in order to defend his client, brings in a competing psychic. At the same time, Bridget definitely does not enjoy her day out with Joe at his work.

Allison is unable to share her dreams with Joe, even as he is called upon for a jury duty and Devalos asks her to remain away from the case. But the man is freed and Allison knows he is the one to kill his wife so she takes the police to the location of the body.

Next, Allison sees dreams about Joe’s past, and as the DA is going for a re-election, she feels that a murder will wreck up his chances. Allison also foils up the Maria Soto case, who was killed for her baby boy, Jackson.

A dead man’s “reputation” is on the line, so his self esteem spoils up Allison’s life. She later learns that the last murder was not committed by the serial killer but by some one else.

Allison also has dreams about her own death, and also a mysterious man who she feels is the Angel of Death but later turns out to be businessman. While investigating a case of a murder of a doctor with the DA, she comes to know that the businessman was in talks with the doctor to dupe patients for an insurance plan that would expend on experimental medicines.

In the end, Allison after a hard day at work dreams about a new life, featuring her as a very successful attorney. But no one here knows about her psychic visions or believes her, except for Joe but he does not even know her in this life.
